Approach:
If you're seeking a therapist who brings not only warmth and compassion but also assertiveness, positive challenges, and a diverse range of evidence-based techniques such as EMDR, CBT-TF, ACT, CPT etc, you're in the right place.
Our approach involves utilizing motivational interviewing, allowing clients to reach their own conclusions, and employing reflective questions. We seek permission before positively challenging you (when appropriate) . Every facet of therapy is approached with curiosity, creating an environment that encourages self-discovery. When we explore with curiosity, we aim to understand without judgment. Many times, our behaviors and thoughts serve as protective factors. By approaching them with curiosity, we can gain insight, learn new ways, and support our body in the process of navegating life/existence! . This holistic approach allows us to embrace all aspects of ourselves, fostering a comprehensive and supportive therapeutic journey.
We embrace a collaborative therapeutic approach, acknowledging that you are already in the driver's seat of your journey. Think of your therapist as your co-pilots, accompanying you as you navigate your unique path. This is why we dont believe that we empower; we recognize the inherent strength within you. Our commitment goes beyond traditional therapy: we hold a supportive space, provide guidance, pose thoughtful questions, offer valuable resources, and assist you in exploring new tools and, importantly, incorporate your culture, values, and expressive arts such as music and movement into the therapeutic process. Together, we focus on strengthening both your inner and external resources, ensuring a holistic and supportive co-piloted experience. We want your experience to be as unique as you are, including all the elements that make you who you are. We're here to support you every step of the way!
